Lopez & Company focuses its practice representing businesses and individuals in the professional services and healthcare industries operating domestically and internationally.

Prior to forming Lopez & Company in 2004, Enrique was the chief financial officer of Air Angels, Inc., a provider of medical transports by air and ground in Illinois and Indiana. Enrique was instrumental in completing private placements and in overseeing the financial and operational restructure of the corporation, ultimately leading to its acquisition.

Enrique has also served as the chief financial officer for the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Cook County, where he was responsible for functions such as budgeting, compensation services, accounting and purchasing for a county-wide agency with an operating budget in excess of $100MM. Previously, Enrique was a tax consultant in the international tax division of Deloitte & Touche LLP (now Deloitte).

In 2020, Enrique was selected to serve on the board of directors of the Illinois CPA Society (“ILCPAS”) for a three-year term. The ILCPAS is a 23,000 member organization representing accounting professionals in Illinois.

Enrique, a CPA, was born and raised in Chicago. He earned a bachelor of science degree in accounting from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a master of science degree in taxation from DePaul University. Enrique has served on the boards of private corporations as well as nonprofit organizations. He is a member of the AICPA and Illinois CPA Society.
